Timescales
I've worked for myself for over 24 years, and have developed various time and self management techniques to calculate reasonable timescales for work, and in that time I've rarely had to cancel or delay work - and wish to continue that.

However, life is also complicated by my having health conditions, and family commitments. For example, if our school aged children are unwell, it is me who takes time off to care for them. My health conditions mean my body has to work harder for every day functions, meaning if I get an infection, it generally is more debilitating, and lasts longer than others. We also have elderly relatives we care for.

When asked to quote for work, I will always give a reasonable timescale, based on current work load and expectations, with some extra time added. However, I can't predict family needs, or other major life events. In the unlikely event that I have to delay or cancel work, I will not be held liable for those delays, cancellations or loses.
All goods remain my property until fully paid for.
